Terry Thomas returns home to Halifax

HALIFAX, N.S. - The Halifax Hurricanes are pleased to announce the return of Terry Thomas to the team.

The 6'4" shooting guard from East Preston, Nova Scotia is returning from a stint in the Super Basketball League in Taiwan with the Yulon Luxgen Dinos.

"We are pleased and excited to announce Terry coming to the Hurricanes at this point in the season," says Head Coach Mike Leslie. "He had a great playing and learning experience in Asia and will add much experience, leadership, and depth to our roster."

The Hurricanes exchanged the signing rights of forward Billy White for Thomas back in August 2018 from the Moncton Magic. But before the NBL Canada season got underway in November, Thomas was invited to try out for the Yulon Luxgen squad and took the opportunity to play overseas.

Thomas, the former All NBLC First Team, All Playoff Team, and All Canadian First Team member from last season will make his return to the league this Saturday against his former team, the Moncton Magic.

Check out Terry's return with the rest of the Hurricanes on Saturday, January 12 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax against the division-leading Moncton Magic at 7 p.m. Buy your tickets at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office or online here.
